I'm a just graduated civil engineer from Chile whose passion is travelling and diving. I'm 26 years old, and I have always lived in Santiago, the capital city of Chile. When I was 20 years old, in a trip to Machu Picchu, my sense of adventure flourished. I decided to take a gap year from university and go travelling around the world. I started in Cuba where I did my Open Water course and then traveled for a whole year around Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia (of course Bali!), and Europe. After this amazing year, where I had the opportunity of diving in some of the best places ever and of meeting fabulous people, my life changed for ever! Travelling got into my mind and the travel bug was everywhere. Since then I've been travelling as much as I can. Last December when I finished university, I decided to take another gap year before working. I came to Sydney and started working as a labour to be able to save and travel some more. Being a Civil Engineer you might think that I'm a really square and calculating person, but I'm not. Actually this last gap year has only been an excuse to delay my work as an Engineer. I just can't imagine myself behind a desk working in a office. So you might imagine my reaction when I read about the best diving job of the world! It was exactly what I've been looking for! This opportunity could be my only chance of dedicating my life to something I feel passion about! Suksma!!
